Concept Hotel Group brings the Italian Dolce Vita to life with the new Mongibello Hotel in Ibiza.
The new Hotel Mongibello from Concept Hotel Group, inspired by the Amalfi coast and the Ibiza of the 60s will open its doors in July in Santa Eulalia.
This destination hotel evokes the Italian Dolce Vita in the Mediterranean.
Elegant with a touch of rebellion just minutes from the Santa Eulalia promenade.
The architecture and design are by Spanish architecture studio ILMIO Design. Illustrations in the suites by Ibizan artist Marcos Torres, honour Ángel Nieto, Angela Molina and Tony Pike. The hotel will have a secret room ‘Lola's’ in homage to the legendary Ibiza nightclub of the 60s and 70s.
Mongibello takes its name from the fictional town where the plot of 'The Talented Mr. Ripley' takes place, one of the most famous works by the great American author, Patricia Highsmith. In the novel, Mongibello is a small town on the Amalfi coast, hence its design was inspired by this Italian area.
The new hotel will have a signature restaurant with direct access to the beach - from the creators of Silencio and El Silencio Ibiza plus special cocktails.
Mongibello will feature a 70s jukebox in the lobby, an Alfa Romeo Spider at the entrance, an Italian Baroque-style fountain with the head of a Moor, a gazebo to orchestrate weddings, acoustics and photo sessions, and a lemon cart to enjoy a fresh lemonade after swimming in Es Caló de s'Alga.
Collaborations are with Casa Maricruz dressing the hotel furniture and with designer Sergio Prieto who has designed an exclusive mirror for the rooms.
Concept Hotel Group creates hotel brands that revolve around five fundamental pillars: "Art, design, music, fashion, and cinema, but passion is our principle."
