Location
The location is stunning, on a bluff overlooking the Caribbean. It dates back to approximately 564 A.D. with its peak between 1200 -1521 A.D. It is the site of Mayan pyramids, ceremonial and government structures of the walled city's main centre. The “not to be missed” attractions nearest to the resort are the ancient ruins of Tulum consisting of pyramids and ceremonial structures, all less than 5 minutes away.
Kids' Club
We know that children may not be interested in such things, but they will love the Explorer's Club. Open between 9am – 10pm daily for children ages 3-12, this Mayan-themed, fully supervised children's club includes activities like treasure hunts, sandcastle contests, hiking, a splash fountain and a kids' theatre.
