An early Sunday start, but with good reason: Julie and I had the chance to see Royal Caribbean's MS Navigator of the Seas.
I have previously been on holiday on the Independence of the Seas, so I knew what to expect.
I was really excited to see Julie's face as the only other ship she had been on was on Oceania Cruises and considerably smaller than this, which holds 3286 passengers.
Highlights include a rock-climbing wall, ice rink, royal promenade, British-style pub (their cocktails are lovely), outdoor movie screen and Flowrider (surf simulator).
We were split into different groups and taken round various staterooms such as a Royal Suite (bigger than my flat and included a baby grand piano and concierge service).
Then we saw other facilities such as the casino, the spa and gym (not that you would ever see me there).
After all that it was into the main dining room for a gorgeous meal. Julie ordered the tiger prawns and I ordered the steak. She had major food envy - I definitely made the right choice.
By mid-afternoon we had to call it a day as the ship began a new Mediterranean trip. We contemplated hiding in the toilets but I don’t think Julian would have appreciated us not turning up on Monday.
